Is Manny Ramirez Among Greatest Ever ?

Manny Ramirez is gone. No more ‘Manny being Manny’ show. There will be no Mannywood II in Tropicana Field. Ramirez is a retired player and as far as read and heard no missed by anyone.

Not even in St. Petersburg and Tampa they miss him. The Rays statement was simple as: “The Tampa Bay Rays were informed today (Friday) by the Commissioner’s Office that Manny Ramirez has decided to retire after being informed of an issue under the Drug Program. We are obviously surprised and disappointed by this news. We will have no further comment on this matter, and our fans and organization will carry on.”

In simple words, he was caught by Major League Baseball playing with fire again and he paid for it. Testing positive for a banned substance under major league baseball's drug policy, Ramirez retired Friday rather than face the prospect of a 100-game suspension.

No matter all the problems he had in the past he must be remember as one of the most feared right-handed hitters of all time. There is a lot of debate about who are the best all-time right-handed and left-handed hitters in the game.

Everyone will have its own opinion. The debate is open.

Here is my list of the top 10 right-handed Latino hitters of all-time: 1. Alex Rodriguez 2. Albert Pujols 3. Roberto Clemente 4. Manny Ramirez 5. Edgar Martinez 6. Vladimir Guerrero 7. Tany Perez 8. Orlando Cepeda 9. Sammy Sosa 10. Juan Gonzalez
